Verification Fixes

Below is a list of things to try that have worked for other members to fix verification loops between our authentication system and Libby. If the below don’t help or you need more support, email us at troubleshoot@queerliberationlibrary.com and we will do our very best to get your account sorted.

  • Close any QLL windows you have open, then clear the cache (aka cookies) on the browser you're using, or switch to a different browser.

  • Click on the link in your email inbox a couple extra times just in case

  • Copy the full link in your email and paste in a new tab in the same browser window 

  • Enter the email address you used to sign up for QLL any time Libby asks you for your “library card number”

  • When Libby opens a pop-up window inside the app, open that window in a browser before attempting to log in

  • Log in directly at www.queerliberationlibrary.org/login before opening the Libby app, and use a new private or incognito browser window

  • Try starting the log in flow from https://libbyapp.com/library/queerliblib

  • Open your email link through a different app (instead of gmail, use apple mail, for example)

  • Check to make sure you are using the most up to date version of the Libby app

  • If you can log in on a different device, follow Libby's instructions here to sync devices
